Dr. Chaunell Abrams graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore with her doctoral degree in physical therapy and a passion for helping others.
With experience in outpatient, home health and skilled nursing settings, she understands the wide range of functional levels and is able to provide care and education to patients & their family members of all ages and levels of functional mobility.
Loi became a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer in 2018. With a B.A. in Health Administration and Public Policy and 4 years of professional experience in personal training, Loi has worked with a variety of clients from ages 14-70. In his role as a Fitness Coach and Director, his approach to health and fitness emphasizes age-appropriate training programming that specializes in mobility improvement, strength training, and postural conditioning.
His passion for fitness has grown exponentially in the past 10 years and Loi aims to teach proper form and technique in order to ensure client safety and long-lasting, healthy habits. He believes that exercise does not have to be a tiring chore, and he creates value in each training session to the point that his clients are always looking forward to the next session. Being a great personal trainer means being able to wear many different hats, on and off the training floor, especially since everyone has a unique backstory and experience. Loi takes great pride in creating fun, effective, and personalized workout programs for each individual.
Raised in Catonsville, Maryland, Dr. Kumar returned home after receiving his doctoral degree in physical therapy from
Temple University in Philadelphia to began his career at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital.
Following his tenure at Sinai, he was the clinic director of an outpatient physical therapy practice. Dr. Kumar's career has spanned across all settings of physical therapy and rehabilitation, including inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care.
Dr. Kumar prides himself in being able to mentor undergraduate and graduate level students, and has served as a clinical instructor several times over the years. He also serves as a volunteer faculty member at the University of Maryland Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences Program.
He is one of just a handful of physical therapists in Maryland to gain fellowship status in orthopedics and manual therapy.
